It is understandable that the essence of the problem is not clear to residents of Europe, Australia or the United States, as there is no war ther - no missiles, drones, or other explosives flying through the air. In Ukraine, however, survival is the priority. Consequently, anti-drone technologies - including signal spoofing - are a recognized necessity that Ukrainians must accept. For this reason, GPS signals on the ground are either blocked or intentionally distorted; unfortunately, this also affects highly reliable frequency synchronization systems that based rely on GPS network signals. In your case - as with other GPSDO versions from CT1FFU - everything relies on precise time (and frequency) signals obtained from a dedicated output on the GPS receiver. However, spoofing distorts not only the geographic position but also the time, and consequently, the frequency. Therefore, no version of the DX Patrol will function correctly during a spoofing event. In this setup (by me), I am simply replacing the VCO control voltage from the PLL detector from GPS detector with a constant voltage from a potentiometer. In this case, stabilization will be provided solely by the OSC5A2B02 in standalone mode.
